Other Events
 
On January 25, 2010, General Communication, Inc. ("GCI") issued a press release announcing approval of GCI's wholly-owned subsidiary United Utilities, Inc.'s ("UUI") application for an $88 million loan/grant combination to extend terrestrial broadband service to Bristol Bay and the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta.  A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
